Steel
Premium Iranian steel — trusted for strength, purity, and performance.
Iran’s steel sector is one of the oldest and most advanced in the Middle East, with modern production beginning in the 1960s through Esfahan Steel Company (ESCO) and expanding rapidly post‑1979 with the launch of Mobarakeh Steel Company (MSC), now the region’s largest producer.
As of 2024, Iran ranks among the top 10 global steel producers, with 31 million metric tons of annual crude steel output and a national vision of 55 million MT by 2025. Key exports include rebar, coils, beams, slabs, and rails, serving markets across Asia, Europe, and Africa.
Iran is also a world leader in Direct Reduced Iron (DRI) production and adheres to global standards including ISIRI, ASTM, DIN, EN, and GOST.
